Travel through shallow water over sea seagrass prairies, and hard bottom sponge communities between mangrove islands and across sandbars. Most times the water is clear enough to see the bottom as we travel across the national wildlife refuge. There’s plenty of opportunity to see wildlife. Many animals call these refuges home. Over 250 species of birds, 3 species of sea turtles coastal bottlenose dolphins, and many types of fish. Be immersed in the wide variety of eco systems, from the mangroves that support life underneath and above the water, to the many underwater habitats. We spend most of our time in one of two nation wildlife refuges off Key West, The Great White Heron National Wildlife Refuge and The Key West National Wildlife Refuge.

We welcome you, your friends, and family aboard as our special guests. We want to provide you with an excellent experience on the water. Whether that’s relaxing at a sandbar, enjoying a sunset, experiencing wildlife, or learning about the ecology and history of the Florida Keys. We aim to please. We offer a professional, but a fun laid back Key West style atmosphere where customer service is top priority.

There’re different areas to visit depending on what’s desired, and weather conditions. Such as snorkeling spots, areas more likely to see dolphins, birds, sandbars, water clarity, waves, currents etc. Some guests want to relax and enjoy the beauty of the sandbar, where others would like to see wildlife and have more of an eco-tour experience. We can make a game plan before we leave to dock. We’re very knowledgeable of the Key West history and the local ecosystems and where to spot wildlife. We know where the calm waters are and how to get there. Come out with us and experience the Key West most people don’t get to see.
Our Trips
Key West Sandbar Adventure 11am-3pm
Enjoy a 4 hour private charter for up to 6 guests. Cruise over shallow water, sometimes only 3 feet (1 meter) deep, as you make your way to one of Key West's sandbars. During the trip you may spot an assortment of wildlife ( 250+ species of birds, dolphins, turtles, assorted marine life). Anchor at the sandbar and enjoy the shallow tropical water and sand under your feet.
Key West Sunset Cruise 4pm-6pm
Embark on a private Key West sunset cruise featuring premium Hors D'oeuvres for up to 6 guests. Traverse Key West Harbor amongst sailing tall ship schooners, beautiful and historic sights, and a chance to see wildlife. Your knowledgeable captain will provide you and up to five more friends and family with excellent experience while you enjoy fine foods, beautiful views, and a Key West sunset.
ABOUT
Owner/operator, Captain Evan Edwards has worked on traditional sailing schooners offshore and coastal. He has been a kayak / snorkel / history / eco tour guide aboard various vessels in Key West for over 15 years. He has captained sailboats, various styles of motor vessels and piloted hovercrafts with over 10 years captain experience. He enjoys the abundance of wildlife so close to home and welcomes you to come experience the beauty of the Florida Keys.
